The Verbier Film Awards is the only community event for seasonnaires and locals to celebrate their winter is the most epic way imaginable – on the red carpet. If you have an idea for a film and a bunch of a friends who love riding, then this event is for you. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Get your team together

Already got a riding crew? Are your mates absolute senders in the park? Or do you just have an outrageous idea for a film? Pros, rookies, filmmakers, seasonnaires – everyone has a chance of winning big at The Verbier Film Awards. Get your team together now.

Step 2: Come up with an idea

Good, bad, hilarious, genius – we love them all. The best films follow a story and nothing gets the crowd going like big tricks, so get creative and don’t be afraid to send it for the lens.

Step 3: Sign up online & collect an official filming flag

All teams must sign up online and collect a filming flag if they want to enter. Filming flags are handed out the day before filming week starts on March 14th – don’t forget to get yours from T-Bar.

Step 4: Make your film in 8 days

This is it! Get your crew together and get out on the mountain. You have 8 days to film, edit and deliver your masterpiece to our all-star judges. Films must be handed in on the last day of the filming week: March 22.

Step 5: Walk down the red carpet

It all comes down to this – hundreds of Verbier locals, seasonnaires and holidaymakers will gather in the Verbier Cinema to watch your film. This is your time to shine – your very own ‘Oscars of the piste’. Good luck, and see you on the red carpet.
